St Ruan's Well (Ruan Lanihorne)
St Ruan's Well (Ruan Lanihorne) submitted by celticmaiden55 : A view from the front of St Ruan Lanihorne Holy Well, it is starting to crumble on the inner walls and there is a lot of sediment on the floor of the well, my wellington boot sank and I had to really pull to get it out so not sure how deep it is.The surrounding area is well tended, although you need to clamber under a wire fence to get in to see it close. St Ruan's Well (Ruan Lanihorne) submitted by celticmaiden55 : A lovely ripple caused by water dripping from the roof, I did taste the water that seeped through the wall (the water on the floor was far too muddy for y taste! ) and it was very pleasant. (Vote or comment on this photo)

According to a sign in the church the Well is now on private property and permission needs to be given to visit, there is a phone number on the sign.
