The Churchyard Cross at Porthilly, near Rock, across the water from Padstow in Cornwall must have one of the prettiest settings.

It is a sturdy low granite wheel-head cross, and listed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, Grade II. It is described as 10th century.

On the EH Schedule record website the OS grid reference is incorrect, but hopefully the right one appears on this site page.

In the listed info the dimensions are given as:
Height - 0.96m; Width - 0.85m; and Thickness - 0.28m.

St Michael's Church is in a wonderful setting, directly above the river Camel, beside a small cove - a similar situation to St Just in Roseland.
It was open for a while (when we visited on Tuesday 13th May) for a wedding, after which the bride and groom departed by small boat. Very romantic.

Though the lane to the church was not well signposted on the day we visited, we were really glad we found it in the end. There is a largish church car park nearby. (If we hadn't already walked to St Enodoc and Jesus Well we could have left the car and walked from Rock.)

There is info on Wikipedia, where I found the link to the Scheduled listings pages.

Situation in St Minver Lowlands parish. The other two churches in the area are the wonderful St Enodoc in the sand dunes near Rock, and St Menefreda at St Minver.

St Michael's Porthilly Churchyard Cross
St Michael's Porthilly Churchyard Cross submitted by Antonine : The cross is just under 1 metre in height. Originally all 4 sides would have been decorated. When the historian Langdon illustrated the cross in 1896, the only visible decoration was interlacing pattern on 2 sides of the shaft. (Vote or comment on this photo)

St Michael's Porthilly Churchyard Cross
St Michael's Porthilly Churchyard Cross submitted by AngieLake : The short wheel-head cross at Porthilly, in St Michael's churchyard. (In a local guide book 'The Three Churches of St Minver' it is described as: ".. a fine granite cross. It was removed from the west end of the Chapel to its present position and probably dates from the 5ht or 6th century. In heraldry is it known as a 'cross degraded'." "Porthilly was almost certainly on the original Pilgrim...
