Cist in Inverclyde

Blood Moss Cist 'C' is located on Kelly Glen in the Clyde-Muirsheil Moors.

In 1999 "I. Hogg" discovered the remains of a Bronze Age Cairn & Cist on the moorlands of Blood Moss, near the summit of White Hill. It is about 650m North of Kelly Burn (Which forms the boundary with Ayrshire) and just over 1/2k North of Kelly Cist #4. The Cist dimensions are approximately 1.5m x 50cm wide and 50cm deep, and it sits in a low mound roughly 7m in diameter.

Situated about 200m above sea level, this is one of 4 Cists found on White Hill (All the remains being pretty similar)
These days the Cairn is visible as a low turf-covered mound.
