St Stephens Beacon
St Stephens Beacon submitted by Bladup : The ditch at the North of St Stephens Beacon. This hilltop earthwork has been identified as a Neolithic site (a causewayed enclosure) but Pastscape says that the extant features most probably has its origins in the middle prehistoric period. It is listed as a possible causewayed enclosure because some of the ditch isn't continuous, and is clearly in sections.
