St Conan's Well
St Conan's Well submitted by KiwiBetsy : The well sits in it’s own small fenced area with steps leading down to the stone lined well which drains away into a small stream. It was quite overgrown when we found it and has accumulated itself quite an impressive collection of tennis balls and the like. It is supposed to date from the 6th century when it was blessed by St Conan. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Argyll.
This well is located on the main road (A85) through Dalmally, diagonally opposite the police station and directly beneath wires slung between power pylons.

It sits in it’s own small fenced area with steps leading down to the stone lined well which drains away into a small stream. It was quite overgrown when we found it and has accumulated itself quite an impressive collection of tennis balls and the like. It is supposed to date from the 6th century when it was blessed by St Conan.
