Rock Art in Perth and Kinross
This cup marked rock is recorded as Canmore ID 78348, an entry from 1995 saying: "This boulder is situated approximately 20m E of the dyke which encloses the new forestry plantation and just S of the old dyke which runs NE. It measures 1.1m by 0.5m at is at around 0.25m in thickness, bearing at least thirteen cup-shaped depressions on its upper surface. Most are probably natural."
The Northern Antiquarian (TNA) also features a page for the stone - see their entry for Nether Glenny (28), Port of Menteith, Perthshire, which gives directions for finding the stone, together with photographs and a brief archaeology & history. TNA adds: "But of the “thirteen cups”, only five of these (seven at the most) appear to be man-made. The others are, quite distinctly, geophysical in origin."
