Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Isle of Man

This well is recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 31236, which says: "(this is an) early medieval well discovered at the lower corner of the Glebe, about 143 yards west of Lonan Old Church. The well was triangular in shape and formed in the bed of a running streamlet of three great blocks of stone set on edge. It was likely that it was used for baptism".

The Journal of Antiquities also includes a brief mention of this well as part of their page for Lonan Church Crosses, Isle Of Man.
