Thor Cross, Bride
Thor Cross, Bride submitted by CaptainFlint : The full cross, or at least one side of it. The crosses (there are 2 other crosses, an altar slab, and a medieval Adam and Eve carved piece of masonry) are now inside the church and lit by spotlights on a timer switch. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Ancient Cross in Isle of Man

A Norse cross with pierced sections and a great deal of elaborate carving of Norse mythology etc. Called the Thor cross because one of the scenes shows a man carrying a large object in one hand though to be the head of an ox which Thor used as fishing-bait to catch a huge serpent. Found when the old church was demolished in 1869.
