Carmarthen Museum
Carmarthen Museum submitted by PERKYPUFFIN : A stone with two carved faces. Approx one meter high stone with a head shape and carved faces. It is in the "Roman" section of the museum but to me has the characteristics of being carved about 3000 BC, before the use of metallic chisels. Figurehead with two faces. Typical carving next to a Neolithic tomb. Found at a site 6 miles SW of Carmarthen. (1 comment - Vote or comment on this photo)

Sadly any pre-norman items have been removed from public display and will stay in storage for the ever I have been told today.
