I have visited· I would like to visit

Rarna visited on 1st Jan 1998 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 5 Access: 3 I visited these two stones a long time ago, but still remember it clearly, and it was a great experience. The stones are actually in a farm field, so access is not public, and the reason I visited them, was due to a publicised attempt to re-instate the public access to them. Perhaps it was successful? I hope so.

Meinillwydion Stone Pair
Meinillwydion Stone Pair submitted by nddavies : View west into the sunset from the road about 400m east, hence the poor photo quality. Close crop of the northern pair, one or both of which is presumably "the pulpit" that Coflein refers to. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Three stones are visible not two as Coflein describes. The close pair are at the north end. The smaller of these looks about the same size as the third stone at the south end. The north to south distance is about 30m as Coflein describes.

Meinillwydion Stone Pair
Meinillwydion Stone Pair submitted by Postman : The remains of Capel Coker are situated within a small copse of trees north of the three stones. A standing stone is located at the north-east corner of the copse. Its height is given as 6ft 6in and it is described as a square pillar, and it was reputedly known locally as ‘the pulpit’.
