We walked up the very steep (but do-able) track about 400 mtrs to the top where the enclosure was. Chicken wire fence 'protects' the pretty ragged and largely destroyed monument; it doesn't exactly add to the ambience. Although there are a few very old trees, (which do).

Quite easy to get to from the road MA3110 from Totalán to Olias, take the Olias road & just after the fork in the road there is a lay bay to the L/H side and a track leading off the road to the R/H side. Take the L/H track. There may be another regular way up as there are some broken steps on the last section to the Monument but they are even steeper than the track and we went for the 'easier' option climb. Pretty & stunning location.
