The cairn is situated on the summit of Craig Cwm Silyn one of the peaks along the Nantlle Ridge. The stone built cairn is large and substantially intact. However, walkers have adapted the interior to suit their needs both centrally and to the south of the cairn.
This is a circular cairn with a diameter of 10m and a height of 2m.
The Nantlle Ridge provides excellent panoramic views of the environment.
