Ancient Village or Settlement in Gwynedd

Situated above Harlech town the enclosure is on a level about 400m below the larger settlement of Muriau'r Gwyddelod. The enclosure is 21m in diameter and has massive walls of 5m+ thick. The interior is flat and overgrown with no discernable remains visible. The enclosure has been used as a sheep fold and lambing shelters have been built into the walls.

Muriau'r Gwyddelod Circular Enclosure
Muriau'r Gwyddelod Circular Enclosure submitted by w650marion : Lovely big circle but Gwynedd Archaeological Trust says - Almost the whole structure today is the result of later piling up of stone to clear the ground in and around the site, and possibly, the only features of the underlying original work are certain set orthostats visible here and there at the foot of the walling. https://archwilio.org.uk/arch/query/page.php?watprn=GAT1056&dbname=gat&tbna...
