The Journal of Antiquities features a page for this old Roman old mine - see their entry for Dolaucothi Roman Mines, Pumsaint, Carmarthenshire, which includes directions for finding the site, a photograph of the mine entrance, some background information and their source of information: Houlder, Christopher., Wales: An Archaeological Guide – the prehistoric, Roman and early medieval field monuments, Faber, London, 1978.

The mine is recorded as Coflein NPRN 95141, along with one of the spoil heaps - see Coflein 402248.
