I'm not sure if this link will work but it shows a modern stone circle at the complex:
https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/gallery/2019/oct/16/charles-jencks-gardens-postmodern-design-architect-in-pictures#img-4

I had been searching for photos of Charles Jencks' home in London, Thematic House, which has now been given Grade 1 listing by Historic England:
https://www.google.com/search?q=thematic+house+charles+jencks&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=JyOW4Gj59dIt6M%253A%252CEmO2_Ir3BO8rhM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kTUghIhmau7MSZLkj4YnwknTGSBpw&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjpxqyg84rmAhX2TxUIHY4CAvoQ9QEwAHoECAgQFQ#imgrc=jPnPnAqvF9pfEM:&vet=1

having just read that he'd died in October.

I was fortunate to be interviewed by him in the mid 1990s for a housekeeper position, so had first-hand experience of being inside that stunning building in Kensington. (No, I didn't get the job, partly as I was recovering from cancer, which his wife had sadly died from not long before. Prior to that I'd been a housekeeper for a year in Notting Hill/Bayswater.) He was a real gentleman.

Lots of photos at
https://heritagelandscapecreativity.wordpress.com/2016/03/29/monuments-to-the-future/

and see also Ken Brophy who writes:
A megalithic landscape has been created in an abandoned open cast mine on the edge of the town of Sanquhar, Dumfries and Galloway. It is the Crawick Multiverse. Opened to the public in June 2015, and ten years in the planning and making, this ambitious landform was created by the artist Charles Jencks and funded by the Richard Scott (aka the Duke of Buccleuch). The complex of stone circles, stone rows, megaliths and mounds represents grand cosmic themes:

This world-class landscape art design links the themes of space, astronomy and cosmology, creating a truly inspiring landmark that will appeal to everyone from art enthusiasts and scientists to the wider community.

This is a truly impressive place on an awesome scale, and I have now visited it twice: once when construction was well underway in June 2014, and again in February 2016. The scale and ambition of the venture, and the aspiration to revitalise a ruined post-industrial landscape, are impressive. But yet I can’t help having reservations. There is a curious lack of acknowledgement that the created forms have prehistoric origins, with the cosmic meanings always to the fore. And I also wonder how much the local community will benefit from the Crawick Multiverse.

There are some stunning photos in those links, and I LOVE the theatre group's costumes and make-up. They certainly brought the monuments to life, and their futuristic costumes suited the modern stones' setting.
(I didn't realise they'd come to Exeter last Nov.! What a shame I missed that treat.)
As for the landscape design, and the newness of the stones, I'd imagine it would take a few years to weather-in and maybe once they gather a layer of lichen (how long will that take?) it will make a lot of difference. Everyone will experience it differently, anyway, depending on how often they have already visited ancient megalithic sites. Also, it depends on how sensitively the commercial side of it is handled. It would be great if it was just something one would find unexpectedly, and wander into with no gates, entrance fees, or gift shops ... like Dartmoor, with its vast spiritual beauty.
I'd love to visit one day, and also see Charles Jencks' other 'Earth-Mother' landscape creation in the North.
Mr Jencks will leave an amazing legacy (fortunately funded here by the Duke of Buccleuch), and I do hope the local population benefits.
