St. Rumon's well
St. Rumon's well submitted by AngieLake : A close-up of the hand-drawn plan of the position of the holy well in regards to the church. If you're able to access the churchyard from the roadside gate it'll be easy to find, but I could not open the gate, so luckily found the narrow 'green lane' that goes around the outside of the churchyard. The well is tucked away at the far end of the lane, just past the rickety gate. (Vote or comment on this photo)

A few stone steps go down to a small basin of water in this small well house delightfully surrounded by ferns and greenery was restored in the 1950s. Easily found just outside the churchyard wall. It is associated with St Rumon, a dark age Cornish Bishop.

St. Rumon's well
St. Rumon's well submitted by AngieLake : The 'rickety' gate at the rear of the churchyard was the only way I was able to access the church on 9th June. The well is just to the right of me here, tucked away at right-angles to the lane where it ends.
