Situated on a west facing terrace this structure was originally noted on modern aerial photographs but not accessed on the ground during a 2014 uplands survey. Coflein have included it on their site as NPRN 541283 under the title of Circular Feature.

During my visit I was able to get within 20m of the site but I was unable to approach it due to a high dry stone boundary wall. During my visit I felt that the structure could be a hut circle or a cairn but a closer examination would be useful. I intend to return. However, I thought that the structure resembled a disturbed cairn more so than a hut circle ? Coflein have it's diameter as being 5m and I agree with that. I would also say that it was raised to about 0.5m.

The site location offers great scenic views to the south, west and north.
