Mynydd Dinas Rocking Stone
Mynydd Dinas Rocking Stone submitted by PERKYPUFFIN : One of two important rocking stones on Mynydd Llanllawer. This 9 ton stone used to rock prior to about 1999. I suggest it was used to make a heartbeat sound into the ground when the area nearby was used for May Day celebrations. Explanation in book by Tom Bennett "3000 BC Death and Rebirth Rituals in Neolithic Wales". (Vote or comment on this photo)
