By the road is this sensitively rebuilt holy well in the hedge along from Barton Farm. The site is still well looked after and a ceremony is held here on Ascension Day

Shobrooke Holy Well submitted by AngieLake : A better view inside the well when poking the camera lens through the metal gate. I didn't want to damage the lovely flowers decorating it.

Shobrooke Holy Well
Shobrooke Holy Well submitted by AngieLake : The villagers had worked hard to make the Well as colourful as possible with their fruit, vegetable, and bread offerings. Shobrooke Church was also decorated like this, and I don't think I've ever seen such a lovely display at Harvest Festival time. The atmosphere was wonderful.

Shobrooke Holy Well
Shobrooke Holy Well submitted by AngieLake : It was Harvest Festival on this sunny Sunday (18.9.17) and the well had been decorated as well as Shobrooke Church.

The pretty little well at Shobrooke is now a stop on the Pilgrims Way from Crediton (and St Boniface's Holy Well) to Exeter Cathedral.
