Standing Stone in Gwynedd. The Coed y Bedo standing stone lies close to an old trackway over the mountain of Foel Goch that leads to Cerrigydrudion.

Coed y Bedo
Coed y Bedo submitted by PaulBadger : Full moon visit, without using a torch I found that although the standing stone itself is invisible due to the thin side facing the path, the fallen outlier reflects the moonlight well, and then the standing stone is visible when you get on the moonlit side of it (Vote or comment on this photo)

Coed y Bedo
Coed y Bedo submitted by PaulBadger : I went on the full moon and found that the flat side of the stone is aligned with the path of the moon (Vote or comment on this photo)

Parking in wide road outside of property bearing same name as the stone. A few minute walk along footpath to the east, and a short break off to the north. This stone, some 5'7" tall, is an easy rewarding visit.
