Cefn Merthy Cynog Cairn (West)
Cefn Merthy Cynog Cairn (West) submitted by geoffstickland : The site is immediately beside an offshoot of the main military road across The Epynt Mountain. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Cairn in Powys

A Bronze Age Barrow about 20' across and 2' high, grass covered and in good condition. The integrity of the site may have been impaired by military road works in the area. Like its adjacent sites, it is set high on the Southern slopes of the Mynydd Epynt military training area.
