St David's Church (Trallong)
St David's Church (Trallong) submitted by Sunny100 : Stone with a large incised ring-cross carved on it stands inside St David's Church. It dates from the 10th-11th century. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Early Christian Sculptured Stone in Powys
The late Medieval to Victorian church is 8 miles W of Brecon, not far from the Roman fort of Y Gaer. Within can be found a stone with a large ring-cross on it and a stone lintel with the Ogham inscription carved upon it.

The churchyard is partly circular, indicating it's sacredness before the coming of Christianity.

At the W side of the doorway stands a stone with a large incised Celtic ring-cross carved on it, dating probably from the 10th-11th century. There are many similar crosses to this one - mainly in the southern part of Wales. There is also a stone which is used as a lintel. This bears the ancient Ogham inscription and dates from the 5th or 6th century CE. It was apparently found during restoration work in the 19th century.
