Ancient Cross in Powys

There are several records for this church on the Coflein Database:

Churchyard Cross: Coflein NPRN 306541 at SJ02422654;
The octagonal cross shaft is 1.4m high and believed to be 14th century, mounted on a step and topped by a sundial.

Churchyard Mound: Coflein NPRN 309733 at SJ02422657;
This mound is reported to have been a preaching mound associated with the cult of St Germanus.

The Church of St Melangell: Coflein NPRN 160381;
The church was first founded in the 7th or 8th century to serve a community of nuns, and still retains St Melangell's shrine.
