Round Cairn in Powys

Situated on high ground to the east of Llyn Efyrnwy (Lake Vyrnwy) the cairn lies on the western edge of a grassy knoll to the west of Coed Dafarn Newydd forest.

This is a turf covered cairn that has a 10m diameter. It is raised to 1m but the centre has been disturbed with some of its inner stones apparent.

The location affords excellent views of the cwm (valley) with Llyn Efyrnwy dominating the valley floor.
