Mynydd Meiros Cairn
Mynydd Meiros Cairn submitted by sem : Mynydd Meiros. This structure lies about 50yds WNW of the main cairn and is not shown on either Coflein or Archwilio. It could be a clearance cairn, but the prescence of a large stone on the near horizon suggests otherwise. (Vote or comment on this photo)
A cairn built over a natural rock formation. The rock formation consists of small outcrops and boulders in a ring round the top of the summit; into the ring is a low mound of small blocks of sandstone.

The blocks are mostly <0.2m, the cairn is about 5.5m across.
It sits next to Ffordd-y-Bryniau (Way of the Hills), a very ancient ridgeway.

Mynydd Meiros Cairn
Mynydd Meiros Cairn submitted by sem : Mynydd Meiros Cairn. Meiros could derive from the Welsh meirw, thus meaning Mountain of the Dead. To the right can be seen another structure which appears to have gone unnoticed by the archaeos. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Mynydd Meiros Cairn
Mynydd Meiros Cairn submitted by sem : Mynydd Meiros Alignment? Cairn in the foreground, unknown stucture in mid-picture and on the near horizon (hidden by sheep) a possible fallen standing stone. (Vote or comment on this photo)
