Modern Stone Circle / Monolith in Andalucía

This dolmen is located on the grounds of the Parque de las Ciencias (Science Park) in the city of Granada. Please check the website www.parqueciencias.com for opening hours and entrance fees.

It is a reconstruction of a funeral monument inspired by one in Dílar (Granada) and it represents the Granada megalithic model from the Neolithic and the Copper Age (4th and 3rd millennium B.C.). It is built using 8 upright stones (orthostat) made of sandstone and covered by 3 large slabs weighing 25,000 kg, resulting in a slightly trapezoidal chamber.
The dolmen, 2 m in height, 3 m in width and 6 m in length, is covered by tumulus of compact clay with a diameter of 11 m and is delimited by a ring of vertical stones.

The dolmen is situated in an area dedicated to experimental archaeology and is a research and collaboration project between ExploraLAB-Parque de las Ciencias and the Prehistoric and Archaeology Department of Granada University.

I can't find any info about the original at Dílar, except for this old pic.
