Ancient Cross in Powys

"Important early Christian stone at W end [of church], probably a cross shaft decorated with four-cord crude interlace, a small figure at the top with upraised arms, a Maltese cross towards bottom and a small bird below" - Cadw

"Tall slab incised with linear cross of 10th-11th centuries. Found c.1855 buried 'in a foundation beneath the door leading from the chancel to the vestry', during the demolition of the old parish church" - CPAT

This figure bears a strong resemblance to the figures on The Cross of Moridic nearby.
