Ffynnoncattwg
Ffynnoncattwg submitted by geoffstickland : The spring can no longer be seen as it has long since been channelled under ground through the garden of the house, under the road to emerge in the garden of a house across the road. The spring originally emerged at the base of a cliff immediately behind the house. Now named "The Old Vicarage", the house was originally named "Ffynnon Catwg" (Vote or comment on this photo)
According to RCAHMW Coflein website, a spring was issuing from an iron pipe that was in a stone wall. A 1982 record states that "Issue now obscured". RCAHMW Coflein record: FFYNNONCATTWG.

St Cattwg is also St Cadoc.

Re: Ffynnoncattwg by Anonymous on Tuesday, 04 June 2019
the spring at the foot of the small cliff has been covered over and the water flows under the garden of The Old Vicarage, under the adjacent lane to emerge in the garden of a house opposite (information gathered from the owner of the Old Vicarage)
