It's difficult to see this as a cairn now. The visible stones are so solidly fixed that I thought they were part of a rock outcrop. For the most part it is grassed over and largely hidden. While this may present a disapointment as a monument, the views are quite something, and worth the 1/2 hour trudge up from Llangorse lake on their own.
Built into the nearby drystone wall are information boards, with views of the surrounding hills on them with their names. A nice touch.
A recommended walk, but come on a nice day.
