Ancient site in Moray.
Sat on a small hill overlooking the village of Garmouth and the nearby coastal village of Kingston.
A supposed four-poster stone circle, an unusual type of stone circle, that I often associate more with England, especially Derbyshire. However a 4-poster circle does exist at Templestone in Moray, and these are characteristically small in size, in this part of the Country. Two large stones with a fragmentary recumbent stone, split in 2 (?) between. Undoubtedly part of a bigger structure in the past. The position is quite dramatic, overlooking the Moray firth coast.
