Saint Nizon allée couverte
Saint Nizon allée couverte submitted by Ogham : The site is in the middle of gorse bushes. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Remains of an allée couverte near Malguénac in Morbihan.

Ogham writes "There is a well signposted path from Saint-Nicolas which leads to Saint Nizon allée couverte. It follows a stream for part of the way so is very wet in the winter. The path stops at an electric fence and up on the crest of the hill is the allée couverte.

The allée couverte is approximately 10 metres long, there are 8 orthostats still in place and a few others lying or broken. It lays northwest to southeast. Their arrangement suggests a cell was in the west end".

There is a well signposted path from Saint-Nicolas which leads to Saint Nizon allée couverte.

Their arrangement suggests a cell was in the west end.

I would rate this site as condition 2, ambience 2, access 3.
