Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Lancashire

Close to Bull Spring, The Northern Antiquarian (TNA) tell us that "one and a half centuries of neglect have not been kind to the Wrangdomwel, which is now in the middle of a large area of swampy land" - see their page for Fairy Well, Staining, Poulton-le-Fylde.

TNA include directions on how to find this site ("be prepared to crossed barbed wire fences, and to meet some friendly ponies"), together with a photograph and a brief 'archaeology and history' . This well was, at some point in the past, associated with a cairn, which no longer appears to exist.
