Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Somerset

This site is clearly marked on the Landranger map with the note sulphur. It is said by Kelly's Directory to have healing qualities, and folklorist Tongue stated it was an eye well. Horne work on Somerset Holy wells noted that he had difficulty in dry weather finding this site. It can be found by the edge of a private field arising in small circular area with some signs of rockwork around it but infortunately with an ugly farm shed above it.
