Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Lancashire

The Bull Spring, Staining, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire page on The Northern Antiquarian (TNA) describes how to reach this well ("be prepared to cross barbed wire fences"), includes a photograph and gives a brief 'archaeology and history' of this well.

Wrangdom or Fairy Well is sited half a mile to the north-west, with this well 'issuing from an area of swampy ground'. TNA tells us it is associated with cairn which rises 2 feet higher than the surrounding marsh.
