Dovedale enclosure submitted by Postman : Lifted big stones in the henges interior (Vote or comment on this photo)
Ancient Village or Settlement in Cumbria

From the Archaeology Data service;
An enclosed hut circle settlement (a settlement showing evidence for one or more hut circles (roundhouses), enclosed by a distinct boundary earthen bank) and a round cairn (a roughly hemispherical mound constructed primarily of stones, normally containing or covering one or more human burials) of Romano-British date.
Romano-British settlement site, which, according to AM County Index, may have started off as a henge monument.

A mile long walk shaded by Oak trees with red squirrels by the side of a small lake. Very nice.
The earthen circle looks like it could have been a henge at one time, the big stones on site are perplexing, some are set into the bank, some are on the bank and some are in the earthwork itself. A round cairn lies disheveled just outside where the eastern arc of henge would be, but it's gone. Gone by the hands of a small farm track that doesn't really go anywhere or get used much? Doubtful.
Please climb the big hill right next to it the views are awesome!
