nickhobley visited on 15th Apr 2013 - their rating: Cond: 2 Amb: 1 Access: 3 The field containing the well has just been bought. It is surrounded by development so wonder if building is about to happen around it.

Mungo's Well (Selkirk) submitted by nickhobley : Site in Scottish Borders Scotland To find the well follow Kirk Wynd up the hill into South Port which becomes The Loan. At the top of the hill follow Deer Park round to the right and then second left into a short lane. The field is on the right with a small access gate - the well half way down the field.
