Boar's Den
Boar's Den submitted by LivingRocks : An easy site to access, the Boar’s Den is well preserved and has not been excavated. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Round Barrow(s) in Lancashire. Boar's Den is relatively undisturbed and consists of an earth and stone mound 66.5m (E/W) by 62m (N/S) with a maximum height of 2.5m, although having suffered some plough damage in the past, it seems now to be used only as grazing land.

Re: Boar's Den by Anonymous on Monday, 28 November 2022
Whilst Lady Hill & Windmill Hill are becoming increasingly overgrown, Boars Den is probably the best preserved example in the area, helped by the sheep nibbling the grass.
A good viewpiont is from the woods on the public footpath to the northwest, slightly higher up on the the hill.
