White Spring (Somerset)
White Spring (Somerset) submitted by fairyweb : The white spring (Vote or comment on this photo)
Nineteenth century well house built to provide water for the local population. The area was said to be a well known beauty spot before the well house was built. It has been converted into a Pagan temple and is manned by volunteers. Inside is candlelit with shrines and a bathing pool which is used. If visiting bare in mind that there might be people bathing inside. No photography allowed inside the well house. The floor is very wet so take care when looking around. Check website as ceremonies take place throughout the year.

The White Spring and well house.
