There are three stones worthy of attention housed within Brechin Cathedral which appears to be open daily. (It was unlocked with nobody about when we visited).

On the North wall of the chancel above a medieval font there is a 9th Century cross slab. Diagonally opposite there is an 11th Century hogback and another cross-slab from Aldbar (NO573582). Behind the hogback is a collection of fragments - Pictish and later I suspect.
