St Owens Well submitted by TimPrevett : The not very impressive remains of St Owen's Well at Much Wenlock. At least there is a record of it here, though. A small ledge under the plaque holds a tub of violas; the only beautifying object left here on the spot. See the main site entry for details. (Link to left of picture). Dated to at least 6th century AD, to Saint Owen, a Welsh Saint who lived in Shropshire.
