St Andrew's Well (Corton Denham)
St Andrew's Well (Corton Denham) submitted by KiwiBetsy : Water runs from the metal pipe at the left of the picture and is channelled into the stone bath. A sign says that the well was restored in 1988. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Somerset.
This well sits on the main road through the village and backs onto the hill just under the church.

The spring itself would seem to be further up the hill closer to the church. A cobbled path leads from beside the well up the hill to the church. It is a very pleasant place to sit in the sun and listen to the birds accompanied by the trickling of the water.
