Clee Burf submitted by TheWhiteRider : According to Arch Search the original stone rampart has been reduced to a scarp. This is it, close by is the cross dyke feature. (Vote or comment on this photo)

Clee Burf
Clee Burf submitted by TheWhiteRider : The only possible prehistoric earthwork that I could make out on the heavily quarried summit of Clee Burf looked similar to the corss ridge dykes of The Long Mynd or in the environs of Stapeley Common. Perhaps this small part of the Iron Age settlement has asurvived? (Vote or comment on this photo)

Hey White Rider - glad to see someone else getting out into Shropshire :o)

Did you visit Abdon Burf at the same time as this? I also observed you were at Mitchell's Fold for Solstice. Were you there for sunrise? If so, who were you, as I was there too (the bloke running about with a tripod!).

Cheers

Tim
