Bosbury Church Stone
Bosbury Church Stone submitted by hamish : This strange stone slumbers by the church clock tower, it was found beneath the Preachers Cross in 1796. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Standing Stone (Menhir) in Herefordshire

This Stone is lying beside the clock tower of Bosbury Church. In the Churchyard is a preacher's cross, when it was moved to its present position this Stone was found beneath it. Why it was there no-one knows but it has been lying in its spot since 1796. Sacred ancient Stone - maybe.
