Ring Cairn in Yorkshire (North)

The Northern Antiquarian (TNA) gives details of this intriguingly named, but now lost, ring cairn, which was first described by Harry Height in 1892. The TNA page for Batty Wife Hole, Ribblehead, North Yorkshire gives directions about where this site is located, along with some archaeology and history of the area immediately surrounding.

Interestingly, whilst there is no entry on Pastscape for this exact location, there is an listing for a group of prehistoric hut circles and enclosures with a grid reference of SD 7609 7881 - see Monument No. 1059972 - which is around 190 metres away from the ring cairn described above.
