St Nazaire dolmen
St Nazaire dolmen submitted by AlexHunger : Classic Dolmen, about 2 Meters tall with 2.5 Meters long capstone in central Saint-Nazaire park with 3 smaller stones and Menhir nearby. (Vote or comment on this photo)
At the Place du Dolmen in central St Nazaire can be found this strange collection of megalithic stones. Several pieces rescued from the local area during developement have been erected here in a sort of fantasy sculpture.

The collection has a large trilithon representation of a dolmen, more than 2 metres tall and a large menhir stands nearby, with several other pieces of stone. This collection of megalithic stones is thought to have been assembled here in 1928. Additonal Info by TheCaptain

This site is not historically accurate. It has been put together in the last few centuries from other stones from the vicinity. I think it is meant to be some kind of memorial for the nearby naval base.
