Cist in Northumberland
Site N 4205
A group of cists revealed during ploughing. Two were found before 1898 and produced fragments of an urn and pieces of charred bone. The third was found in 1878. Two querns and several axes were found, one of the querns is in Berwick Museum. The fourth cist, found in 1900, had many jet beads and two flint beads.
