Holy Well or Sacred Spring in Worcestershire

St. Catherine's Well is a semi-circular (in plan) recess lined with a wall of loose Oolite stones, with the water at its foot. The scanty supply of water is derived from the drainage of slipped upper Lias clay and oolite debris. - Pastscape monument no. 118097.

The well has gone. Walked the length of the stream up to its source and where the spring was is now a piece of plastic pipe sticking out of the ground with the water coming from that. Nearby is a sunken concrete water tank. No sign of the well any more, just lots and lots of pieces of Cotswold stone all over the area and along the stream bed from the various buildings that were pulled down over time.

Glad to report that I've now found what's left of it! It was hidden behind rubble and undergrowth. Have posted photos.
