A 7-8th Century Memorial Stone
The inscription is cut into the flat surface of a block and reads:- CATGUG. C...
FI]LIUS GIDEO
This means Catgug son of Gideon, in Modern Welsh, it would be 'Cadogan'.
An 8th-9th Century Memorial Stone reading:-
GONGORIE
in Modern Welsh, Gongor.
