Re: Access to Buzbury Rings by Anonymous on Sunday, 08 May 2005
To the author of above. May i suggest you get the landowners permission before you "scale a fence"! The site is privately owned, the great access comes in the fact that the monument is is bisected by the Wimbourne to Blanford Road (B3082). The little lay-by that provides parking is in fact on the interior of the feature. People just invading land leads to people who really want to investigate these sites losing out because landowners are fed-up with people just scaling fences, instead of going through the proper channels and getting permission!
