Promontory Fort in Scottish Borders. This Iron Age fort overlooks the coast north of Berwick-upon-Tweed. It consists of two enclosures (probably representing two chronologically different phases of construction). The western enclosure is in better condition, with clearly defined bank and ditch. The eastern enclosure (likely to be older) is marked only by a low, spread earthen bank.

Two twin enclosures adjacent to each other are very similar to the nearby Iron Age fort at Earn's Heugh.

Canmore entry.
